Wall stickers that really stick Mar 26, 2010

My daughter chose these as part of her room makeover. I was worred when I read another review saying they didnt stick well.
But these stick amazingly well. I had just repainted the walls - dont know if that makes a difference.
They are removable, so you have to be careful not to mess them up when you prise them off the wall. Use a sharp knife to lift the edge and pull slowly and steadily. When you place the larger rings, to avoid bubbles, I let the ring 'attach itself' via static and then let the rest of the ring flop over and just worked around slowly to let it stick 'naturally'.
trick here is patience and just dont be in a rush.
Colors and patterns are just as you see in the ad. They come on one rolled sheet and I thought something must be missing, but each ring is concentric so there are actually dozens of rings on one single adhesive sheet.

The single sheet of stickers were shipped in a huge, long box so they arrived a bit crumpled and bent, but they still went up with no visible defects. My husband and I found these an easy and instant way to decorate the powder room walls.
I'd recommend planning out the design before you begin though, including whether you're going to keep some rings together, as in the photo. We had separated them all at first, but thought that didn't look quite right, so then spent a lot of time trying to re-position some stickers so the patterns lined up -- the actual sticker removal was very easy though.

I'm an adult and I really enjoy these adding color to my otherwise white walls. Really fun to put up, too, and you can make some creative designs. While they are removable, I wouldn't plan on moving them around regularly -- it is a little hard to keep the circles perfect when you're putting them up. Good price, good purchase.

Please read before you apply: here's a tip I learned half way through applying this product!! I wanted it to look like this picture; well it doesn't come that way. All of those colors you see are single circles that lift off the paper and you can't get two off at the same time. I tried to line some of the circles up that were right next to each other back up on the wall and they didn't go back together right. TIP: take a pencil and make a small line on each circle that lines up the line just below the one you just marked. (Marking each cirlce in the same spot, so when pulled off you can re-align the pencil marks back up) When you pull the first circle off and you want to put the other circle on the inside or outside line up the pencil marks and it will go right together. You have to do this if you want to create the look on this page. Hope this helps!

We bought this to help bring some color to the walls of our son's room. First of all, I love that the sticker sheet comes with a legend, so you can imitate their design, or you can create your own. Secondly, I love how bright and colorful it is! Our 12 month old loves to look at it, and helps us point out all the different colors. Third, I like that you can unstick and restick them. And finally, I love that it's not too babyish that it looks cheesy.
The only thing I didn't really like was that once you have them down, they're paper thin and hard to get up off the wall without some effort. You have to scratch with your fingernail to get them up, but once that happens, they come off pretty easily. Overall, it was a great buy!
